Seaside Lodge is a self catering luxury holiday lodge in the quiet seaside village of Anderby Creek, and it's getting some great guest reviews:

In the guest book

"Excellent stay with the family. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space in such a wonderful place".
Spencer family

"Our 3rd visit and found it as perfect as ever. Sampled the fishing in the lake this time, excellent and yet another reason to return".
Geoff & Jean Ringer

"We loved the lodge - you have converted and furnished it beautifully, we felt very at home and were happy to stay and relax there. We were impressed that you had retained some of it's original features, particularly the front window, and found the whole experience of a simple week by the sea uplifting.  It was an inspired choice to create a luxury retreat there but you have capitalised on the efforts of Lincolnshire Council to make something of the special coastline into a country park which we enjoyed very much - so relatively quiet and undeveloped.  We had lovely weather too and spent a whole day at the Gibraltar Point nature reserve which was fabulous! So, thank you again, we had a lovely week to relax and recover from our usually hectic life at home".
Hilary & Gwyn Jones

"We had a most wonderful stay and could not have had better weather. We walked over 50 miles by the end of the week!
The accommodation was perfect and possibly the best we have ever stayed in, both in the UK and abroad. We will definitely want to book again."
Melanie John Ross

"Seaside Lodge is one of the most beautifully & fully equipped lodges we have ever stayed in. We have had such a wonderful stay. The Fat Seagull is great! As is Villa Italia in Louth, the Manor House at Alford, ice cream at Farmer Browns! The cycle from the lodge to Sutton on Sea on the sea wall and the Miniature Village at Skegness. Gorgeous beach here at Anderby Creek too!"
Hannah, Jason, Louis and Seb

"Arrived today and I think I've found a little slice of heaven. Absolutely perfect. Spotless, home from home, with endless, extra special little touches. We had ordered the welcome platter, which was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend. Went for a lovely evening walk with the kids and the dog. Cosy night in, with a log on the fire. Kids already asking when we can come again."
Helen Hall

"We’ve had such a relaxing three days. The beach here is truly a hidden gem and the lodge couldn’t have been more perfect if we did it ourselves. Thank you x"
Helen and Simon

"The Lodge is lovely. Very well furnished, very comfortable and with some really lovely touches. Very good quality crockery and clean, yes it makes a change, pans etc. As I'm cook it's nice to see you've thought about that aspect...lovely and cozy too with plenty of hot water.
Jewels loved running round the table in the garden and listening to the ducks and geese, the latter took off each evening right over the lodge.
We love Nespresso. so lovely coffee! The welcome basket was nice. The platter was lovely. The charcuterie was delicious and there was homemade piccalilli - my favourite."
The Butchers (and Jewels their Retriever)

Ideally location, perfect for everyone; including the dog who didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be returning!" Helen Scott

5 stars  "We had a fabulous stay at Seaside Lodge just after Easter, what an absolute gem! The lodge is so very comfortable and incredibly well equipped, lots of little extras! Beautiful fittings and furnishings, we loved our time here! The beach at Anderby Creek is breathtaking and so clean, we rented bikes and cycled the sea wall to Sutton on Sea, sneaking off the track to the amazing Fat Seagull for coffee and cake! Louth is a must too!" Hannah Young

5 stars  "Had a lovely 3 night stay, Welcome basket of goodies, lovely inside and outside right on a beautiful lake with views and beach very close. Archie our Bichon absolutely loved his stay. Thank you and we will definitely be back" Claire Forrest

5 stars  "Had a wonderful 3 nights stay. The Lodge is spotless with loads for extra touches. Excellent location only 2 minutes from a beautiful beach. Great for dog walking and bike riding. We loved it at Seaside Lodge and we would highly recommend." Joanne Beeton

5 stars  "I have just returned from a wonderful weekend break at Seaside Lodge. What an amazing place to stay. The lodge had everything you would ever need and the views from the large windows are beautiful. Add to this the magnificent beach, 2 minute walk away. There is a lovely beachside cafe and very friendly pub very close by where you can get delicious food and drink. I would recommend seaside lodge any time. Thank you for a fantastic holiday." Carol Froude

5 stars "I have just had the most amazing weekend at this quaint lodge. I was lucky enough to be surprised with the stay by my sister and two close friends as a 50th birthday treat. I cannot recommend this enough! I would go back in a heartbeat." Dawn Mawson

5 stars "Just enjoyed 3 nights in Seaside Lodge and really didn't want to come home - the location and lodge are just the perfect combination for a complete chill out. I used to stay at Anderby Creek as a child and it really hasn't changed in over 40 years - completely unspoilt and the beach and dunes are fantastic. It's a great place to explore the area around the East Coast - best fish and chips for ages in the Sea Breeze at Sutton on Sea, another unspoilt coastal village and lots of good food shopping in Louth. If you need to picnic from the comfort of your car try the beach car terrace at Huttoft just north of Anderby where you are almost parked on the beach itself. The comfort and styling in the Lodge are superb - already planning our next trip it was that good." Katy Newman

5 stars "Enjoyed a wonderful weekend break here recently - the layout and decor is well designed and everything you could want is supplied as well as comfy beds, great shower, ideal location and super view! Our break was over too soon! Highly recommended!" Becky Deighton

5 stars "Whether rain or shine, Seaside Lodge is a wonderful place to stay, especially if you need to get away from it all (although the wifi keeps you in touch with the good things!) The comforts of home (and in some cases better than home...) are very well thought out and of very good quality. We, and the dogs, wanted for nothing. Very practically designed, with touches of quality, comfort and interesting books and pictures for relaxation- a great combination. It's the little touches, like the drawing/painting materials, the Nespresso, the candles, that are so much appreciated. The view of the Creek was lovely, the birds, Colin the Moorhen, the sunsets, the sound of the water lapping nearby. And the walks along the beautiful beach and back behind the dunes were very restorative of both soul and energy! All in all, a really good place to stay and we shall be going back again - and we are quite fussy so it must be good!" Sara Dixon

5 stars  "The most relaxing weekend I have ever experienced, only wish I could have stayed longer. Perfect start to the day was breakfast overlooking the peaceful lake, a whole day at the beach which was by far the nicest beach I've visited in the UK with a BBQ to finish as we watched the sunset. The lodge itself is delightful, loved the vintage style with a perfect twist of modern conveniences. Can't wait for my next visit". Sarah Kirkwood

5 stars "Having just spent the weekend here with some great friends, I would like to share this little gem with everyone in need of some downtime." James McCarville

5 stars  "What a fantastic weekend we had at Seaside Lodge. Everything has been so well thought out and designed that you do not want for anything. The lodge itself is laid out perfectly with views over the stunning lake from the living room sofa and master bedroom. The lodge has a vintage feel but with all the modern touches to make you feel more than comfortable. I can highly recommend a late night barbecue on the beach (which is only a couple of minutes walk away). Thank you for accommodating us so well. There is no doubt that we will be back very soon!" Hannah Mawson

5 stars  "A fantastic experience, with stunning views and all the amenities you could possibly need. Seaside Lodge is situated in a lovely location, which provides a beautifully tranquil, lakeside environment and a 60 second walk to a gorgeous beach (Depending on how quick you are!). Whilst it’s easy to focus on the views and the beach, what impressed me most about Seaside Lodge was the attention to detail and level of care that has gone into the interior design. Everything from the decor to the kitchenware has clearly been carefully selected to help enhance the luxury vintage experience. I cannot recommend this highly enough!" Matt Stanngroom

5 stars  "We absolutely loved Seaside Lodge...the décor and the furniture are just perfect. The beach at Anderby Creek is really lovely and brilliant for walking the dog and my daughter and I went running...Seaside Lodge fitted the bill perfectly." Janine Ingle

Seaside Lodge's Google+ reviews

"Idyllic seaside retreat with all the luxury required to relax and explore the beautiful coastline of Anderby Creek and beyond. The extra special touches of a log burner, super soft linens, fabulous coffee machine and a view to die for whilst watching the sunset/sunrise over the lake. We can't wait to come back very soon." Laura and Chris Aldworth.

"My lady and I stayed over at Seaside Lodge last weekend with friends. Although we'd obviously researched the accommodation online, little prepared us for the actual completeness of what was offered. The 'feel' of the property just can't be conveyed in multitude of lovely photos available on the Lodge's website/blog; I'm probably going to do a pretty poor job here too. It just feels like a lodge you would have done. It's homely but very luxurious; it's very airy but cosy...am I making sense? "Carlsberg don't do Seaside Lodges, but if they did"......you get my drift. Warmth, space, welcome pack, comfy beds and sofas, awesome log burner, great views, empty beach, your own friendly moorhen in the garden. The classy owners have taken great care to create a retreat they'd want to have, so pleased they're sharing it!" Matt Cockin
